🍖 Classic BBQ Sauce
🥣 Ingredients
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1–2 tsp hot sauce (optional)
- 1/4 cup water (adjust for thickness)
🔄 Instructions
- Combine Everything
Add all ingredients to a saucepan
- Simmer
- Cook over medium-low heat
- Stir occasionally
- Simmer 10–15 minutes until slightly thickened
- Taste & Adjust
- Sweeter: add more brown sugar
- Tangier: add more vinegar
- Smokier: add more smoked paprika
- Spicier: add hot sauce or cayenne
- Cool & Store
- Let cool
- Store in fridge up to 1–2 weeks
