🥩 Steak Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar (or red wine vinegar)
  • 3–4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (or honey)
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Optional: 1 tsp Dijon mustard or fresh herbs (rosemary/thyme)

🔥 How to Use:

  1. Mix everything well.
  2. Add steak and coat fully (bag or container).
  3. Marinate:
    • Thin cuts (flank, skirt): 2–8 hours
    • Thicker cuts (ribeye, sirloin): 4–12 hours
    • Avoid over-marinating (acid can break meat down too much)

🍳 Cooking Tips:

  • Pat steak dry before cooking for a better crust
  • Cook on high heat (grill or cast iron)
  • Let rest 5–10 minutes after cooking
  • Slice against the grain (especially for flank/skirt)

  • Garlic butter vibe: Add melted butter + parsley
