🍖 Savory Roast Marinade
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 4–5 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary (or 1 tsp dried)
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme (or 1 tsp dried)
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Optional: 1 tbsp brown sugar (for caramelization)
🔥 How to Use:
- Mix marinade well.
- Place roast in a large bag or dish and coat thoroughly.
- Marinate:
- Beef roast: 12–24 hours
- Pork roast: 8–24 hours
- Chicken (whole): 6–12 hours
🍳 Cooking Tips:
- Remove from fridge 30–45 minutes before cooking
- Roast low and slow (usually 300–325°F)
- Use a meat thermometer:
- Beef: 130–140°F (medium-rare to medium)
- Pork: 145°F
- Chicken: 165°F
- Let rest 10–20 minutes before slicing
